Solar-PV power generation data
Below you can find solar-PV generation forecasts, real-time estimations of actual solar-PV generation and historical solar-PV power data.
Notification: On February 21 2018 Elia has updated the register of total installed solar capacity in Belgium. As a result, the installed solar capacity increases with 416,27 MW.
Above you will find an aggregate forecast of the solar power generation for the next seven days. This varies depending on the selected filter (filter 1: region vs. DSO; filter 2: selection of region or DSO).
The published forecasts are Week-Ahead, Day-Ahead and Most Recent forecasts. There are 4 updates of the Most Recent forecasts i.e. at 8 a.m, 11 a.m, 2 p.m and 4 p.m CE(S)T. The data is also available through the export functionality.
Additionally, values for a quarter-hourly real-time estimate of the actual level of PV-solar power generation are shown. These measurement values can be updated up to 8 hours ex-post and the tool will always show the latest available best estimation.
Next to the graph representation there is also a map representation available by clicking on the button on the top right.
